Can the Ceiling Airers be Mounted to Ordinary Plaster Ceilings?

The UK style ceiling airers need to be anchored into something solid and secure in your ceiling and cannot just be mounted to the plaster.

There needs to be some ceiling support or timber added in the area you want to install the unit, so that the pulleys can be anchored securely.

The screw rods are 90mm long, with a thread of 60mm (as pictured below)

The pulleys at each end of the airer need to be anchored into some suitable timber or beam that will hold the weight of the airer and the wet washing when this is added.
