Six Lath Supreme Ceiling Airer A1256 Product Video
Hi there. I'm just going to take you through one of our ceiling airer products. This is probably our most popular ceiling airer that we do sell, this is the Six Lath Supreme Ceiling Airer. Now these products are manufactured in the UK, made from cast iron and also a red wood pine timber lath or wooden lath. As you can see here this is just the complete kit, so when you're purchasing one of these products without the extra options, this is what you'll actually get in the kit. So you can see there two cast iron ends and obviously with the six lath they are available in several different colors. You've also got the single pulley and double pulley, the 10 meter cord rope and also the cleat hook for tying the rope onto the wall. And with all those metal items that will be available in whatever color you choose, they'll be all match together.
The timber laths are available in several different size options. Anything from a 0.9 of a meter length right up to the very large 2.4 meter length. The side to side measurement of the ceiling airer when it's installed is approximately 50 centimeters from side to side. As you can see it did have six or does have six timber laths, and when it's fully raised to the ceiling from the ceiling down to the bottom edge of the lowest timber laths it will be approximately 30 centimeters.
The timber laths are kiln dried so that will take all the sap out of the timber. That stops or eliminates any staining of your clothes when they hung over the wooden laths. This image is just showing you the optional extra double pulley that you can purchase with the airer. It's quite a popular option, that just mainly does is keep the cord away from the airer so it comes across to the optional extra pulley and then down to the cleat hook which is attached to the wall. This just keeps the rope and all the cord from passing down through the wooden laths so you've got clear space for the airer.
It's also quite handy the extra pulley if you do have a particularly high ceiling, does offer a bit of extra leverage and also with higher ceilings, quite often you may need to purchase the optional 50 meter rope length, so that's where the extra double pulley may be needed as well to counter for the extra length rope.
You can also get the optional S-hooks or stainless steel butchers hooks. They're quite handy for using the airer in the more traditional way for in the kitchen when you're hanging your sauce pans and utensils off the airer but it's also good for hanging just about any item. If you're using the airer in your laundry you can hang all sorts of things off it.
There is a typical installation in this image, so the single and double pulley thumpy screws into the ceiling, you do need to make sure though that you are screwing them into the timber panes inside the ceiling and not just the plaster board.
